Profile - who we are

Sit SteuerungsTechnik GmbH specialises in the development and installation of control systems for conveying machines. With about 170 employees, we implement customised solutions for famous international intralogistics companies.

Our focus is on control systems for baggage handling systems, goods distribution centres and package sorting systems. In addition, in our Retrofit division we convert existing systems to state-of-the-art control systems. Our customers benefit from comprehensive solutions - from planning and developing the control system through installation and commissioning up to service and maintenance.

Sit SteuerungsTechnik GmbH can trace its history back to the Grünnagel, Zoller + Partner engineering practice which was founded in 1971. In 1977 the company changed its name to Sit SteuerungsTechnik® GmbH based in Ettlingen near Karlsruhe. Another important milestone in our company history was in 2008 with the founding of a second site in Schönaich in Schwabia.

Since 1 January 2011 Sit SteuerungsTechnik GmbH has been a subsidiary of the Dirk’s Group.
